Birds and Beaks- Observation Page
Draw a picture of the experiment
The two beaks I used were:
- ___________________________________
- ___________________________________
The first beak worked well with _______________ kind of food. This tells me it would be used in the wild to eat _____________ kind of food and would belong to a _______________ bird.
The second beak worked well with _______________ kind of food. This tells me it would be used in the wild to eat _____________ kind of food and would belong to a _______________ bird.
What I am looking for check list
- Detailed picture
- Works well independently
- Able to answer the questions with little teacher assistance
- Can identify foods and beaks types
- When asked I can talk about the different beak types and how they work
- Uses multiple beaks and can relate them to how birds feed
